The RuggedRouter^® RX1000 is an industrially hardened cyber security appliance with integrated router, firewall, and VPN functionality.
The RuggedRouter™ can be used to establish an electronic security perimeter around criticalcyber assets found in control and automation systems, in order to prevent the disruption of operations by accidental or malicious acts. Ideally suited for electric power utilities, the industrial plant floor, and traffic control system applications, the RuggedRouter^® is designed to protect and secure SCADA system networks connected directly to the Internet, or within a company’s private Wide Area Network (WAN) or Local Area Network (LAN).

RuggedMAX™

RuggedMAX™ is a high-performance, long range, secure family of products fully compliant with the WiMAX 802.16e Wave 2 (MIMO) mobile broadband wireless standard. RuggedMAX™ is designed to extend IP networks over large distances to fixed and mobile users. The product family includes a variety of base stations and subscriber stations with differing output powers, form factors and frequency options for use in licensed or license exempt bands. The RuggedMAX™ product family has gone through extensive end to end network interoperability testing to support multiple different ASN gateway platforms and 3rd party subscriber devices in order to give customers flexibility by leveraging the full WIMAX ecosystem. RuggedMAX™ with its compact form factor and flexible configuration is ideal for use in mission critical private networks.

Family of Industrial Hardened Wireless LAN Devices

The RS900W family are industrially hardened Ethernet switches which integrate IEEE 802.11b/g Secure wireless LAN, with fully managed Ethernet switches and optional serial server functionality. With the installation of the RS900W Series of wireless LAN products, a network designer will achieve the integration of wired and wireless networks. The RS900W product family can be configured as an access point, client, or bridge device.

The RuggedRouter^® can be used to establish an electronic security perimeter around critical cyber assets found in control and automation systems, in order to prevent the disruption of operations by accidental or malicious acts. It is ideally suited for electric power utilities, the industrial plant floor, and traffic control systems. The cellular modem option for the RuggedRouter^®, RuggedCell™, enables
users to extend network boundaries, reaching remote sites with broadband throughputs and built in quality of service. The router can be equipped with
either a GSM SIM based or CDMA solutions.

RuggedServer™

The RuggedServer™ family of ruggedized serial-to-Ethernet servers are specifically designed to operate in industrially harsh envrionments. The RS400 offers four galvanically isolated serial ports (RS232/485/422) coupled with an integrated four port fully managed Ethernet switch, integrated high voltage power supply (no external adaptors) and optional integrated V.90 modem. The RMC30 offers two isolated serial ports and integrated high voltage power supply. Both meet or exceed industry standards (e.g. IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, NEMA TS 2) for ruggedness and communications performance in mission critical real-time control applications requiring high levels of reliability and availability.

The RuggedMC™ family of ruggedized fiber-to-copper media converters are specifically designed to operate reliably in industrially harsh environments. The RuggedMC™ family offers an integrated power supply (no external adaptors) in one economical package. The RuggedMC™ meets and exceeds recognized industry standards (e.g. IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, NEMA TS 2) for ruggedness and communications performance and is ideally suited for mission critical real-time control applications requiring high levels of reliability and availability.

RuggedExplorer™

RuggedExplorer™ is RuggedCom’s powerful tool to easily provision and configure new and existing ROS^® based devices. RuggedExplorer™ can run on any LAN based MS Windows PC eliminating the need to connect a serial cable to any of the devices. It's built-in file transfer capabilities allow users to easily upload and download files and firmware from one convenient console.

RuggedPing™

RuggedPing™ is RuggedCom’s new high accuracy graphical ping tool. This handy utility can send ICMP echo message and process incoming responses with a granularity of 1ms. Network administrators will be able to perform RSTP performance testing, ping sweeps to automatically discovery devices and capture outage durations for devices with RuggedPing™.
